"There's a difference between getting lost in the fight and losing myself in one," Vi pointed out. "I love the first one - the rush of the adrenaline and the raw nature of it. But the other... I kinda stop seeing who I'm fighting and see others in their place."

She finished the popsicle. "Or I start fighting my thoughts. Either way, it gets dangerous for whoever I'm fighting... and I should be better than that. I was raised to be better."
