"Yeah, exactly. It's just where people are recorded just being themselves. Usually in some kind of setting they can't leave easily. And then a bunch of other people watch."

Sounds more like a kink than the mundane and usually trash reality shows Tyler's heard about. They didn't do the rounds so much at Fireweed but when they did he thought it was a pretty creepy concept.

Tyler doesn't know what to make of the news otherwise. How can it apply to somebody like him who hasn't got experience from a reality whose monsters are consigned to a storybook or fully human.
