You think so? I presume that is the influence of the old gods at world. They exist as concepts and influence all that consider them... somewhere in their vastness must exist the concept of an elf. Inspiring other beings to think of us, in far off worlds... it is a pleasing thought. Recognition that we have lived in their influence.
