He is amused as he can practically read the thoughts of the other man. It makes sense that he would be confused. Even Xue Yang was surprised by their choices at times. He might have been locked up but the freedom to experiment to his hearts desire was a nice treat. He learned more then even he let on at the time. But there was still much learning to do.
